OFFICE: In one of the most significant office sales transactions in Lincoln recently, Cabela’s credit card operation building at 4800 NW First St., which closed operations in the timeframe around 2018, sold at a price of $11,000,000 to 1081 Properties LLC, which has ties to Peed Corporation.
CHILDCARE: New Horizon Academy (pictured), which offers childcare services for ages 6 weeks to five years, is under construction across the street from the S. 40th Target. It has been in business since 1971 and has over 100 schools across Minnesota, Idaho, Colorado, Iowa, and Kansas, according to its website.
RETAIL: Honeybee Bridal (pictured) has opened near 84th and Holdrege at 8320 Northwoods Dr. near Mi Tierra and Kripa Indian and Napali cuisine. It describes itself as being the most inclusive bridal store in Lincoln.
EATERY: La Chiquita Mini Market (pictured) opened at 4812 Adams Street, a house converted to commercial purposes northeast of Adams Elementary School.
RESIDENTIAL: Elevate Church sold its building to neighboring Grand Lodge at the Preserve, which has applied with the City to approve a residential Health Care Facility called Immanuel and add 60 new independent living units in 3 stories. Other related companies in Lincoln are The Landing at Williamsburg, Yankee Hill Village at 33rd & Yankee Hill.
