RESTAURANT: Good Evans, a breakfast and lunch restaurant, opened today at SouthPointe Mall. Cheba Hut, a toasted sub sandwich restaurant, plans to open at Telegraph District on July 30.

NONPROFIT: Foster Care Closet is relocating from the Bottling Building near Lincoln High School, which has been sold to Lincoln Public Schools, to Center for People at 3901 N. 27th. In the interim, they have paused drop-offs and are open by appointment or at their pop-up locations.

RESIDENTIAL: A portion of land that Lincoln Public Schools owned on the southwest corner of 18th & Folkways Boulevard in north Lincoln has been designated as a city park. The remainder has been purchased by 1640 LLC, which is the corporate name for two home building companies in Lincoln.

The apartment complex under construction on the northeast corner of S. 27th and Nebraska Parkway, Encore at Bishop Heights, now has a marketing center open and is pre-leasing units to adults age 55 and over.

MEDICAL: Celerion clinical research has pulled a $274,569 building permit for executive office improvements at 624 Peach Street. Since its beginnings as Harris Labs in Lincoln in 1969, the company has been sold and acquired at two different times and has locations in the United States and in Europe.
