RESTAURANTS: A building permit for $400,000 indicates that 2820 Pine Lake Road will be remodeled into a Good Evans restaurant. The building has housed several restaurants over the years including Valentino’s Pizza, Jojo’s Diner, and Ika San Raman & Izakaya.
COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL: A zoning request at the southwest corner of S. 40th Street and Rokeby Road would change approximately 30 acres from agricultural to H-4 commercial zoning, which usually indicates a type of warehouses, along with some high-density residential development zoned R-5.
OFFICE: At 624 Peach St, Celerion is remodeling an existing lab with a $289,596 building permit.
The international company with over 1,000 employees and locations all over the world was founded in Lincoln and conducts clinical trials.
LIQUOR LICENSES: Glosse Nail Lounge is requesting a liquor license for 8320 Glynoaks Dr. off S. 84th between Pioneers Blvd. and Old Cheney Road. Also on the City Council agenda are liquor requests for UNL Outdoor track and Field at 1620 Transformation Drive, Blown salon and spa at 2920 Copper Ridge Drive, and The Mill at 800 P Street in the Haymarket.
