RETAIL: ShopKo Optical has a new location underway at 8430 Eiger Drive, Suite 110, near Sam’s Club, Starbucks, and Jetsplash. A tenant improvement permit valued at $150,000 was issued for a suite in a new construction strip center.
INDUSTRIAL: Haleon, the company behind brands such as Sensodyne, Centrum, and Advil, is enhancing operations at 10401 Cornhusker Hwy. A building permit valued at $6 million will add new product and packaging lines along with storage space. KLIN’s Grow Lincoln radio shows and podcasts reported in April that a previous $300,000 permit supported warehouse and production upgrades at the same site.
ENTERTAINMENT: Apollos, a private event and entertainment venue, is opening on the southwest corner of 27th & O Street. A building permit valued at $1,000 was issued for the location. Other event centers open previously this year have been Venue 5 Twenty-Two at 1525 Yankee Hill Canvass Event Studio at 8335 Cody Drive, Confetti Corner at 8211 Yankee Woods Dr, and Gathering Grove at 2649 N. 48th
RESTAURANT (pictured): Sakura Japanese is now open near Kohls at 8600 S. 30th Street.
MEDICAL: Sagewell Orthopaedics & Urgent Care has opened at 7350 Willowbrook Lane, near 73rd and Nebraska Parkway. The clinic also operates offices in Syracuse and Nebraska City, according to Strictly Business Magazine.
