RESTAURANT: Near North 27th and I-80, Chick-fil-A has opened at 5805 N. 28th Street.
APARTMENTS: Building permits have been issued for 4560 W. Chitwood Lane (NW 48th and W. Holdrege), a 76-plex, for $13.6 million. At 4030 and 4040 Wilderness Hills, near Southwood Lutheran Church, 11-plex permits have been issued at $1.3 million each.
MEDICAL: Near South 84th and Nebraska Parkway at 7301 Plaza Court, Lincoln Endodontics has pulled a $1.9 million building permit.
NONPROFIT: According to the Lincoln Journal Star and other local announcements, the Asian Community and Cultural Center, El Centro de las Américas, Malone Center, Good Neighbor Center, Department of Health and Human Services, and potentially the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and the Indian Center, are fundraising and planning construction of a 62,000-square-foot Cultural Center at 22nd and Y Streets.
HOSPITALITY: Hampton Inn now has signage on the former Gold’s Galleria building in Downtown Lincoln at 10th and O Streets. The Downtown Lincoln Association reported that rooms will be completely soundproof, and Rib & Chophouse, a premier steakhouse, will locate at this property.
