WAREHOUSE: inExhaust Innovative Exhaust Solutions confirmed that it has purchased the former Bosch Security building at 8601 Hwy 6. The company specializes in exhaust system manufacturing, power generation, and emissions for industries ranging from oil and gas to healthcare. Its products are found in hospitals, data centers, banks, schools, and other facilities requiring backup power.
EDUCATION: At UNL’s Innovation Campus, the USDA has pulled a $24 million building permit for “greenhouse and mechanical” work at its National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture. The 120,000-square-foot project, which broke ground in 2024, is part of a new $160 million laboratory.
RETAIL: At 1731 O Street, Goodwill has filed a permit for a $420,000 interior remodel. The organization also purchased land at 29th & Folkways in February for $1.37 million. Goodwill’s last major local activity was in 2018 when it bought its building at 6300 Apples Way for $2.4 million. It also owns land at 84th & Adams valued at $1.2 million, but no construction has taken place there.
MEDICAL: The urgent care sector consolidates as Heartland Urgent Care at Piedmont merges operations into its 965 S. 27th Street clinic. Meanwhile, the NextCare Urgent Care building in Williamsburg is now on the market for lease.
