GOVERNMENT: The Lincoln Fire Department’s administration offices are relocating from their current site at 18th & Q Streets to the Municipal Services Center, located at 901 N. Bond Street, near the airport and close to the Fairfield Inn and Hampton Inn. The existing fire station at 18th & Q will remain in operation and is planning for future expansion.
RETAIL: Women’s clothing retailer Aerie, part of the American Eagle brand, has filed a $398,299 building permit for a new store at Gateway Mall. Aerie currently operates other Nebraska locations in Gretna and Omaha.
RESTAURANT: Paris Banh Mi Cafe Bakery is set to open in the former Issara Thai restaurant space at 17th Street and Pine Lake Road. Issara closed in late 2022.
SENIOR LIVING / MEDICAL: The Syracuse Area Health Orthopedic Clinic and Urgent Care has filed a $1.379 million permit for a new facility on the first floor of the Nebraska Pain Clinic building, located near Nebraska Parkway and Pine Lake Road.
OFFICE: 13th & N: The Federal Trust Building begins a new chapter with its owner, Stonebrook Companies, and a new tenant, Nebraska Hospital Association, according to a press release from the association. The building is located at 13th and N Streets in downtown Lincoln. Nebraska Hospital Association will move its current headquarters near NorthStar High School into the revitalized landmark where First National Bank of Omaha used to be located and will occupy four floors of the 12-story Gothic Revival building, including a full remodel of the first and second floors to create a dedicated event space for members and partners.
