RETAIL: Near the N. 48th & O Super Saver, Hobby Beacon is renovating the former ACS Medical space at 233 N 48th and will offer gaming and hobby workshops. According to a spokesperson from Super Saver: “We are doing a larger remodel at our 27th and Cornhusker Super Saver location, including nearly all new refrigerated cases and a remodeled pharmacy.”
GOVERNMENT: A lease has been submitted to City Council for the Downtown Lincoln Association to relocate to the Old City Hall building at 920 O Street this October. The DLA is currently located at a portion of the Sharp Building at 206 S. 13th that is identified to be on the same block as the parking for the proposed convention center.
CHILDCARE: TMCO, a local manufacturing company located south of downtown, opened a prep academy childcare center and held a ribbon cutting at 5th & F Street. Children will have educational access to a garden center owned by TMCO at 4th & F Streets, where it has a greenhouse for purposes of growing plants for the City of Lincoln.
WAREHOUSE: T Square Movers has been in business for 10 years and expanded into a warehouse at 3601 S 6th in July, according to Strictly Business magazine, and offers short-term storage for residential and commercial customers.”
