RETAIL: At 5020 N 27th, Hy-Vee is remodeling its existing space and adding an online pick-up space with modifications to the parking lot. The building permit indicates $345,000.
CITY: At 48th & Sumner by Bryan Hospital, the traffic signal will be replaced by a mini-roundabout with a raised central island. Normal Blvd nearby will undergo improvements from 44th to 48th Streets. Also, the City has announced plans to put a roundabout at S. 56th & Calvert.
EDUCATION: According to Lincoln Journal Star, at S. 56th & Calvert, College View Academy plans to build a new K-12 school. It’s currently located at 52nd & Calvert and will be demolished. Union Adventist University plans to relocate its athletic complex to that site.
INDUSTRIAL: East of the Lincoln airport at 4555 NW 14th St, General Dynamics has pulled a building permit for $600,000. General Dynamics is a global defense aerospace company with locations in 27 states and Canada.
OFFICE: At Ease USA, an Omaha based military veterans’ trauma counseling organization, will be opening an office at Crown Plaza next to Broadcast House at 44th & O Streets.
