EATERY: A new donut shop called Parlor Doughnuts is under construction at Village Gardens at 7011 Kentwell.

RESIDENTIAL: A new roundabout has been proposed to the City Council at 103rd and Van Dorn Street in the Firefox housing development. Meanwhile, in another City Council action, 30 more acres are proposed to be annexed near 98th & Van Dorn into the Wandering Creek Planned Unit Development.

EDUCATION: Private school Acton has pulled three building permits in the amount of $1.333,333 for its new campus at 6701 S. Folsom St. Currently located near 14th & Yankee Hill Road, Acton School, according to a press release in Strictly Business Magazine, offers “critical thinking, creativity, and real world skills”.

ENTERTAINMENT: At 129 N. 10th Street, in a multi-use historic downtown building, the Jasmine room is being rebranded as The Ballroom at Grand Manse and, according to its website, will receive interior updates. Venue has been the designated caterer; that is changing to the restaurant owners of Talon Room on N. 12th St.
In other Lincoln news, Hidden Valley golf course at 105th & Pine Lake road sold to a different owner, although no changes to the operation have been announced.

RESTAURANT: A hearing is set for a liquor license today for an LLC called G.O.A.T.’s Table at 2901 S 84th Ste. 16 near S. 84th & Van Dorn. A letter to the City Council indicated that the manager of Big Red Sports Restaurant and Sports bar has made the liquor license request.
