RESTAURANT: Kripa Indian and Nepali cuisine is moving into the former Phat Jacks BBQ location on N. 84th Street 8320 Northwoods Dr. Nepal is a country located northeast of India and shares a border with China. Salmon is offered on the menu as part of the selections.
OFFICE: At Innovation Campus, startup myhousr celebrated a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting! The app connects students to off-campus housing and exclusive discounts at participating University of Nebraska–Lincoln retailers. The app is officially recommended by UNL Housing & Dining.
MEDICAL: A new medical facility is planned at 7350 Willowbrook Lane, just east of the 70th Street and Pine Lake Road roundabout. The project, with a reported building permit value of $1.379 million, will include space for the Syracuse Area Health Orthopedic Clinic and Urgent Care, with first-floor shell space being developed.
MINISTORAGE: At 1600 O Street, an indoor mini-warehouse facility is moving forward with a $150,000 building permit. A second project near 88th & Eiger Drive (west of Sam’s Club and east of Home Federal and Starbucks) was sent to the Planning Commission this month.
