RESTAURANT: Raina’s on the Run permanently closed at 1113 N. Cotner
SALARIES IN NEBRASKA: Nebraska wages for Producer Services industries (accounting, IT, legal, advertising, etc.) are under national average, making it an ideal to attract employers from other states willing to open locations in Nebraska and pay competitive wages. OFFICE: S. 84th & south of Yankee Hill Road, Willet Construction, a home builder and remodeler, has broken ground on a new building.
HOUSING: At 13th and D Streets, groundbreaking and construction are underway on 125 affordable housing units at “Center Terrace” project in the SODO (south of Downtown) neighborhood, which includes space for the nonprofit Clinic with a Heart.
MANUFACTURING: Global German-based company Bosch Security Systems had a ribbon cutting in November after moving 25 employees this past fall from its Cornhusker Highway location to Williamsburg in South Lincoln. The Cornhusker Highway building has been listed for sale for a few years.
