RESTAURANTS: A sign is up for Kaoro Korean BBQ at 8600 Andermatt Dr. Ste. 6, which was a former Sally Beauty Supply (photo courtesy of Calli Johannsen). Also, a former CBD shop in the Indian Village neighborhood at S. 13th & High Streets has been sold to Sultan’s Kite Restaurant, according to commercial broker Ammar Abu. Sultan’s Kite is retaining its locations downtown and near Southwest High School.
RETAIL: The former Urban Trail Gardens at S. 4th & F Streets has been sold to TMCO, according to Maddie Gates in an interview with KLIN’s Grow Lincoln shows and podcasts. It will be used for a nature center for its childcare and LPS students with natural plants, pop-up markets, and makers events. The City is leasing a portion for growing plants for the new Haymarket park.
NONPROFIT: At 3435 N 14th near Belmont Pool and Belmont Recreation Center is the nonprofit Educare; they have a new Head Start at that location and recently held a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. In addition to early childhood education, they provide health, nutrition, development screening and family support services.
AUTOMOTIVE: Morrow Collision has several locations around town, and Bryan Van Slyke reports that they are now open at 1241 Aries Rd. (14th and Pine Lake near SW High School)
