MANUFACTURING: Haleon, a British company, pulled a $300,000 building permit at 104th and Cornhusker Highway. The company sells Sensodyne toothpaste, Advil, and Centrum vitamins and was the result of a mergers and acquisitions with Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Health, and Novartis. Haleon had a global restructuring in 2023 and cut jobs in Lincoln at that time. At the west end of Cornhusker Hwy (601 W Cornhusker), Zoetis, a 950-employee animal health manufacturing facility, has pulled a $7 million permit.
NONPROFIT: Strictly Business announced that 1821 K–Community Action held a ribbon cutting at the Bansal Family Home for Head Start early childhood education following a $3.55 million capital campaign for renovations. The building formerly housed Purdue and Hamilton Colleges and was originally known as Lincoln School of Commerce.
RETAIL: Sierra announced on its website that it will have a grand opening on November 23rd in the former Sears store at Gateway next to the new Burlington and is a retailer of camping and outdoor athletic gear and apparel for families, and pet supplies.
MEDICAL At 5401 South St, Madonna Rehab Patient Care pulled a $8.5M BP for improvements.
